The Project
Set in the seaside settlement of Pauanui, this new home features four beautifully appointed bathrooms and ensuites, with all tiles and bathware (excluding bath) supplied by Tile Depot.
Designed by Emblazon Interior Design Studio and built by Warren Spain, the interiors take inspiration from the surrounding coastal landscape. Soft ashy beige tones, refined textures, and a calm, light-filled palette create a seamless connection to the nearby dunes and sea. The result is a home that feels like a year-round retreat, blending modern refinement with relaxed coastal living.
Across all four bathroom spaces—including the master ensuite, guest ensuite, family bathroom, and WC—a consistent design language of texture, tone, and form ties the interiors together. The standout feature is the use of customised Aintree Wall Hung Vanities from Tile Depot in Garden Grey, specified in three different sizes for each space:
1500mm double vanity in the master ensuite
900mm vanities in the guest ensuite and family bathroom
600mm vanity in the WC
Each vanity is paired with Heirloom Radial 355 Textured Basins in White and Voda Olympia Wall Mounted Basin Mixers in Chrome, with mirrors, towel rails, and toilets also supplied by Tile Depot. The striking slatted texture of the vanities complements the chosen tiles, adding depth and sophistication while maintaining harmony across all rooms.

Main Bathroom
The largest of four bathrooms in this stunning home. The main family bathroom features Frammenta Taupe 597x597mm - a terrazzo inspired floor tile paired with Blanco Brillo Matt 300x600mm - simple white wall tiles that add a lovely soft texture and balance the textures in the space. A striking reeded feature wall that creates a backdrop to the bath as well as a dual entrance to the shower is adorned with Colosseum Travertine fluted mosaic. Sandy coastal tones, rich textures and beautiful soothing tones, this space is divine. With a custom vanity, beautiful pill shaped led mirrors and timeless chrome tapware, this bathroom is welcoming and makes a sincere connection to the nearby coastal landscape.
Guess Bathroom
How awesome is the reeded texture on this bathroom wall created with the Home Ash Kitkat tile. A brick shaped wall tile that captures the finger tile aesthetic in a 125x250mm format. Used as a wonderful feature in this Pauanui bathroom designed by Emblazon Interior Design Studio. The ashy beige tones and reeded texture reminiscent of the coastal dune plants in the nearby coastal environment.
